Jr. Gold Information

The Junior Gold Championships is an annual national tournament for the top male and female youth bowlers in the United States. The tournament has eight divisions – U12 Boys/Girls, U14 Boys/Girls, U16 Boys/Girls, U18 Boys/Girls.

  • Elite Youth Tour (EYT): (www.eliteyouthtour.com) Junior Gold qualifier with SMART fund prizes. Held at various Northern Illinois centers on Saturday’s. Scratch event open to all ages up to U23, multiple divisions.

  • Junior Bowlers Scholarship Tour (JBST): (www.JBST.org) Junior Gold qualifier with SMART fund prizes. Held in various centers of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Scratch and handicap event open to all ages up to U18, multiple divisions.

  • Northwest Indiana Junior Tournament Players Association (NWIJTPA): (www.ihsbsuburban.com) Junior Gold qualifier with SMART fund prizes. Held in various centers of Northeastern Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Scratch event open to all ages up to U18.

  • Star Dust Bowl: (www.stardustbowl.com) Addison, IL. Host a Junior Gold qualifying league.

  • Great Lakes Junior Gold Tour: (www.gljgt.org) Junior Gold qualifier with SMART fund prizes. Held in various centers within Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Scratch event open to all ages up to U23, multiple divisions.

  • Wisconsin Youth Bowlers Tour: (www.WYBT.org) Junior Gold qualifier with SMART fund prizes. Held at various centers around Wisconsin. Scratch and Handicap divisions up to the age of U23.

  • Storm Youth Championships: (www.stormbowling.com/syc) National competitions where you can earn SMART money. A scratch event open to all ages up to U18.

  • Jr Gold Championships: (www.bowl.com/youth/youth-tournaments/junior-gold-championships) National Youth Championships are held yearly in July at various cities for U12, U14, U16, and U18 bowlers. SMART money can be earned. A bowler must earn a spot through competing in a Jr Gold qualifier, Jr Gold League, or PEPSI Championship. Strictly a scratch tournament.

  • U22 Masters/U22 Queens: (www.bowl.com/tournaments/u22-masters-queens) A national event created as a new alternative for young USBC adult members as they transition from youth bowling to collegiate and/or adult bowling. SMART money can be earned as well as a berth on Junior Team USA.
